STAHL CraneSystems – Application example: KT 2000 in the motor industry

KT 2000 is the high-quality small crane system for the S.W.L. range up to 2,000 kg.
The basic element is the maintenance-friendly clearly visible runway rail for top-running and suspended travel units.
KT 2000 permits linear transport as a suspended monorail, as a suspension crane it enables overhead transport covering a whole area. With the aid of this modular system you can combine rails, small cranes and hoists to suit your requirements perfectly – right up to complex material flow solutions.

Erection and extension made easy:
Straight and curved sections and crossover sections, switch points and turntables are plugged in and bolted. If production conditions change, the small crane system can easily be adapted.

Single-girder suspension crane

  • S.W.L. up to 1,000 kg
  • Can be extended as desired without welding
  • Manual or electric crane interlock for overhead material transport; the hoist can travel from the suspension crane to a spur runway without setting down the load

  • Conductor line integrated into the system for parallel operation of more than one crane on the same
    crane bridge

Double-girder suspension crane

  • Uniform beam profile

  • Greater height of lift, as the hoist is mounted between the bridge beams

  • Manual or electric crane interlock for overhead material transport; the hoist can travel from the suspension crane to a spur runway without setting down the load

Suspended monorail

  • Minimum radius of bend 955 mm
  • 8-pole integrated conductor line for automating the system
  • The whole length of the runway can be utilised as there are no festoon cables producing an ambush area
  • Manual travel or electric travel by means of gentle friction wheel drive
  • Manual or electric crane interlock for overhead material transport; the hoist can travel from the suspension crane to a spur runway without setting down the load
